Acitivities

Implementation entails communicating information. Transfer tasks include informing interested target groups regularly and openly about the progress of the research in NRP 53 and the research findings, but also facilitating mutual exchange across research projects within the Programme. Implementation also means assuring that the results of the Programme receive sufficient attention and are utilised in practice – in the world of work or in medical practice or in health policy-making. Knowledge transfer is accomplished through delivering information via, among other things, this Web site, a newsletter, special events, publications and media coverage.
The implementation process is divided roughly into three phases: preparation work for implementation (2004 – 2005), communication and exchange with the various partners (2005 – 2007) and, finally, implementation of the research results through publications, special events and other measures (2007 – 2009).
